New Covid-19 Guidance effective January 19, 2024title
Based on new guidance from CDPH and CalOSHA
- Covid-19 positive cases with symptoms can return to work/school if 24 hours have passed with no fever and symptoms are improving.
- Covid-19 positive cases without symptoms do not need to be isolated and can continue to attend work/school
- Masks are still required to be worn for 10 days from the start of symptoms or positive test.
- Onsite testing is no longer available; however, we will continue to provide free at-home testing kits to staff and students. Kindly contact your school site office or district office to obtain the tests.
- It’s no longer recommended that close contacts test unless they have existing conditions that increase their susceptibility to severe illness.
